In custom car culture it’s not unusual for one niche to borrow ideas or expressions from another. For street rodders the 1932 Ford will always be known as the Deuce, but there’s a different kind of Deuce that’s emerged on the street rod scene in recent years—the full-sized 1962 Chevrolet. Nicknamed the Deuce by the guys in the lowrider scene, the 1962 Chevrolet Impala has been a favorite for every niche of Bow Tie fan since it debuted in late 1961.
